Applications in ergonomics

HD-sEMG is useful for monitoring changes in muscle activation patterns in lumbar and shoulder regions during static and dynamic tasks. The wireless and modular architecture of the MEACS system allows natural body movement and multi-muscle mapping during ergonomic evaluation. MEACS can be used in both laboratory and real-world environments, supporting detailed muscle activity analysis, fatigue monitoring, the evaluation of workplace ergonomics, and of assistive technologies such as exoskeletons.
