  • System architecture

BAM is composed by 64-channel Sensor Units. Up to eight modules (512 channels) can be used to wirelessly acquire HD-sEMG and EEG signals. Up to 16 modules (1024 channels) can be used to acquire signals in wired mode. Signals are sampled at 2048 sps with 16-bit resolution.

  • Miniaturization

BAM is the world's smallest HD-sEMG acquisition system on the market: 35 mm x 29 mm x 20 mm (height). Our patented two-dimensional connector technology allows to keep miniaturization requiremeents increasing the number of acquisition channels.

  • Long battery life

4 hours battery life during continuous transmission in wireless mode. 30 hours battery life in wired mode.

  • Under-sample synchronization

BAM can be synchronized with third-party devices mantaining under-sample synchronization.

  • High-quality signals

Being a battery-powered and a miniaturized floating device, BAM offers high-degree of rejection of Power Line Interference.

  • Robustness to movement artifacts

The high degree of miniaturization, the absence of connecting cables betweem the electrodes and the analog front-end, and a unique patented electronic design allow to have unmatched performance in terms of movement artifacts rejection.

  • No connecting cables

The electrode grids connect directly to the BAM Sensor Unit avoiding the need of connecting cables. This feature eliminates the triboelectric noise due to cable movements and minimizes movement artifacts.

  • Ready for outdoor experiments

The unique system architecture makes possible to acquire signals during outdoor, highly-dynamic and naturalistic conditions.

  • Multi-platform

The acquisition software is compatible with Microsoft™ Windows 10/11, Linux, and Android Operating Systems.
